Patron and Roast Pig

There is a certain itch to savor the first days of summer in unqualifiedly fun fashion. Welcome to our very first Tequila Dinner and Pig Roast featuring the tequilas of the Patron
distillery! Following the Margarita reception, we will meet the lead Tequila Ambassador, Kevin Moench, for creatively pairing straight sipping tequila with specific small-course
- sensing how they match and accentuate certain foods and certain preparations of different foods. Alongside this merriment, there will be an optional "Patron Bar" available
for mixing your favorite agave cocktail or a brand new one! The fourth course is Chef Ty's Roast Pig, smoke-roasted and ready to go with the rest of the evening of gustatory
pleasure, piñata and perhaps even a cerveza or two... $80++ per person.

June 4th - 5th - Argentina! - Many Malbecs migrate more mightily when made masterfully in Mendoza. Whew! These wines are beginning to overwhelm our market even more so than they did a few years back! And it's time to give them our attention: Eric has chosen 4 to accompany Ty's Selection of Smoked Salmon, Caprese Salad and Toasted Quinoa. $22.++

June 18th - 19th - Wines for the Orient - A growing number of the flavors we find on our plates emanate from the Far East - even if it is as innocuous as BBQ Pork and Seeds or as subtle as Egg Roll or as hearty as Soy Sauce or Chicken Satay and the starches you enjoy with them. The usual wines are OK, but there are groups of wines for just such fare and tonight we will taste 4 of them alongside Chef Ty's Asian Samplers. $24.++ (P.S. - Kimchi even has me stumped, so inquire elsewhere.)
June 25th - 26th - A Taste of Italy - If wine production were geo-politics, Italy would rank a superpower. As such, it would be misleading and delusional to try to represent such a nation's vinous output in a mere couple hours. But there are Rustic Gourmet Pizzas coming out of the oven and I can't think of a better way to savor them than alongside a sample each of Tuscany, Piedmont, Puglia and the Veneto - Italy's Big 4 - $22.
