Opening Day 4th Annual Scotch Open Golf Festival

The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course opens for the 2010 season with a day celebrating the traditions of Scotland, the homeland of golf. Festivities begin on the practice range at 9:00 am with a live Bigpipe Band. Shotgun Start the day of golf at 10:00 am with samples of fine Scotch Whiskey abailable for sampling throught the day.

Ford Ironman Triathlon

One of the most grueling athletic events in the world... more than 2000 triathletes from around the globe will gather for the Ford Ironman Triathlon consisting of a 2.4 mile swim in Lake Coeur d'Alene, 112 mile bike ride and full 26.2 mile marathon run in succession. The event starts at 7:00 AM and finishes in downtown Coeur d'Alene until 12:00 AM.

Coeur d'Alene Traithlon and Duathlon

The Coeur d'Alene Triathlon and Duathlon are two of the most scenic races in the Northwest. The 1.5k swim starts the race in Lake Coeur d'Alene, 40k bike ride down Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive and finishing with a 10k run north along Northwes Boulevard and the Spokane River, ending with a triumphant finish at the Coeur d'Alene City Park.
