Goblins, ghouls, ghosts and guests… As the warm summer sun leaves the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene, and an autumn mist sets in across the waters, the monsters and mischief-makers come out to play. It’s time, once again, for the Monster Ball Halloween Party!
Grab your silliest, scariest or sassiest costume and join us at The Coeur d’Alene Resort for one of the most epic weekends of the year. We’re going even bigger this year to create a fun, spooky weekend that you won’t soon forget!
First up on the agenda is the annual Monster Ball Halloween Party on Oct. 26 at The Resort Plaza Shops. For those who have never entered this haunted hall, beware! This is the most fun you’ll have all autumn.
This year, we’re adding even more exciting games and events throughout the night. Come dressed to impress, as prizes for our costume contest are sure to make you scream. The Resort is offering cash prizes for first and second place best-dressed individuals and couples.
In addition, the event will host fun activities, such as a rockin’ dance floor and DJ, no-host bars, beer pong tables, FunnyBooth Photo Booth and much more! That’s not to mention the happy hour specials and delicious drinks that are available from Coeur d’Alene Taphouse Unchained.
The party starts at 9 p.m., and tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Hurry to get your ticket today; they’re already disappearing! Tickets can be purchased by clicking here, or calling (855) 379-5478. Please note, this event is for those 21 and older.
If the thrills and chills at our Monster Ball haven’t spooked you, step aboard our Halloween Moonlit Monster Cruise for a spooky sail! Join us on the waters of Lake Coeur d’Alene Oct. 25, 26, and 27 for a fun, haunted cruise! Our boats will be decked out in spooky decor, and we’ll feature fun activities like a Grand Prize Photo Contest, signature Halloween cocktails and much more!
This 45 minute cruise is family friendly. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. each day, and the first cruise departs at 5 p.m.; must be in line before 7:30 p.m. for our final 8 p.m departure each day. The cost is $10 per person, and free for kids 3 and under.

Since it’s shaping up to be such an epic weekend, you’re going to want to stay in town. Unfortunately, the Coeur d’Alene Resort is already SOLD OUT for this weekend. However, our sister property, The Best Western Coeur d’Alene Inn, still has some rooms available. Hurry to book, as these are going fast! Click here to book or for more information.
So the only remaining question is… What spooky costume will you be wearing? See you there!
