Q: What should every golfer know about The Resort’s Forecaddie Program?

Taylor: Our forecaddie program is one-of-a-kind for a multitude of reasons. We are one of the few courses to offer complimentary forecaddies for each foursome of golfers. We are also proud to have multiple caddies on our team who have been with us since 1998.

Our players have the unique advantage of having someone to rake bunkers, provide tips on how to play the course, and retrieve golf balls. Additionally, caddies tailor their service to the player or group’s level and preferences. Over time, our caddies have acquired stories, local knowledge, and serious golf chops.

Q: Who can take advantage of the Forecaddie Program?

Taylor: Our forecaddies accompany every golf group, whether you’re locals, yearly vacationers, conference or wedding Guests, or golf lovers just passing through Coeur d’Alene. Our aim is for golfers of all experience levels to have exceptional course experiences.

Q: What are some of your favorite bits of feedback you’ve received from golfers about the Forecaddie Program?

Taylor: Our forecaddies are here to serve as your personal concierge during each round. We often hear from players that their overall golf and Resort experiences were better with a caddie than they would have been without. That’s the kind of feedback we hope for. Year after year, there are a significant number of return Guests who request a specific caddie based on relationships that have been formed.

Taylor: Improving each player’s experience extends beyond the Forecaddie Program to include all of our staff – especially the maintenance team’s attention to detail. The conditions and preparation of the course can influence the golfer experience more than almost anything else. It makes the caddie’s job easier when everything is rolling true and mowed to perfection.

Taylor: Personally, my favorite aspect is the overall experience. This course is challenging in the right ways, and it’s in the most idyllic setting.
