73 what? Why might this be such a significant number, you might ask? Is it because 73 is the 21st prime number in the numerical system? Or maybe because 73 is the single-season home run record set by baseball player Barry Bonds in 2001? And although both statements are undeniably true, neither option is the precise reason as to why the number 73 is a big deal here in Coeur d’Alene. Drumroll please…
73° is the average September temperature here in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. 73 whoppin’ degrees! Can you believe it? That’s warm enough to still wear flip-flops! It’s even warm enough to continue eating ice-cream without experiencing a spell of bothersome goosebumps and shivers. But most importantly, it is still warm enough to lounge by the pool, sip on a refreshing cocktail, and soak up the warm summer rays. Which is exactly what we love seeing our Resort guests doing this time of year!
And although we are officially knee-deep into August and it may feel as if summer is coming to an end, that is most certainly not the case! Here in the beautiful northwest, we are fortunate to have warm temperatures all the way into our fall months. And with the endless sunshine and continuous heat, our Resort guests have been enjoying spending as much time in our totally fabulous outdoor infinity pool as they possibly can.
Located on the grounds of the Resort Golf Course, the spectacular lake front infinity-edge swimming pool, sun deck and private beach area is the place to be for family fun in the sun! And to add to the fun-filled experience, transportation to the pool is provided by our handcrafted mahogany boat lake shuttle service, a quick 7-minute ride that is conveniently located at the resort marina with departures every 30 minutes.
Oh, and did I mention that pool-goers can also enjoy poolside snack and beverage service daily from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. too? Here are just a few of my personal favorite goodies and drinks that we offer over at the pool:
