Labor Day at Coeur d’Alene – The Coeur d’Alene Resort
My family has been wondering and debating what we should do for Labor Day for the last few weeks, but I think we found the perfect solution: an escape to the lake.
Amid the pandemic, our favorite summer events and activities were cancelled. The ones that weren’t now feel unsafe. It also seems too risky to travel anywhere by plane.
But hopping in the car with my loved ones and heading to a nearby destination is more than a fun and safe way to get out of the house. It’s an opportunity to enjoy the summer vacation we’ve been dreaming about.
Luckily, I had an idea… Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is only a short drive away from most PNW cities and offers something for everyone! Swimming, watersports, golf, amusement parks, cruises, a private pool, spa services, shopping are all found in the playground of the Pacific Northwest.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort has partnered with Silverwood Theme Park & Boulder Beach Water Park to create unforgettable family memories. Silverwood Theme Park & Boulder Beach Water Park is the Pacific Northwest’s largest theme park. Boasting over 65 rides, attractions, and shows, Silverwood is a can’t-miss experience. And it’s located just 30 minutes from The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
Silverwood offers a variety of rides and attractions with a range of intensities, perfect for all ages. If you enjoy adrenaline pulsing through your veins, you’ll love twisting upside down with the Corkscrew, the Spin Cycle, and the Aftershock. Your heart will race as you race down Tremors and Timber Terror, and plummet to the ground on Panic Plunge.
Take the little ones on flying elephants, a historic train ride, the paratrooper, and more. Prepare to be mystified by Nick Norton’s magic show and travel to the wild west in the High Moon Saloon and the Train Stunt Show.
As the summer heatwave passes over the Pacific Northwest, Boulder Beach Water Park is a go-to spot. Make a splash on Velocity Peak, Thunder Canyon, and Ricochet Rapids. From wave pools to a mini-water park for kids, a lazy river to float up cocktail bars, there’s something for everyone.
Each package includes an overnight stay with two tickets to Silverwood.
BLU Infinity Pool & Beach Club Getaway
Speaking of the summer heatwave, sometimes you just want to get out of the house and into the pool. You’ll float without a care in the world while relaxing in our infinity-edge pool that overlooks the crystal blue waters of Lake Coeur d’Alene.
The BLU Infinity Pool & Beach Club is the perfect spot for relaxing by the pool while treating yourself to uncompromised lakeside views. A wooden shuttle boat departs every 30-minutes from The Resort Marina for a quick seven-minute ride to the private Infinity Pool.
But don’t worry, you don’t have to take a shuttle back to The Resort to get your favorite refreshments. Enjoy all the classics and your summertime favorites at the Infinity Pool Bar & Grill. The menu includes fresh cocktails, cold soft drinks, a light lunch menu, and sweet or savory snacks.
