Sit, kneel or stand at full height on your stand up paddle board for a unique vantage point of Lake Coeur d’Alene and the seemingly endless shoreline. While paddleboarding you can see the beauty of what’s down under the water and the sun shining on the horizon.

Kayak Rentals

The ROW Adventure Center is The Coeur d'Alene Resort's exclusive outfitting company and adventure partner. Located just one block from The Resort, ROW Adventure Center offers fantastic kayak rentals, guided excursions, and more throughout the region.

Lake Coeur d’Alene Kayaking

This guided kayak tour explores the crystal blue waters and towering pine trees of the Cougar Bay Nature Preserve. Tour guides will spin tales of the natural wonders around the lake, teaching you about the region’s native people and early pioneer history. Look overhead and you may spot osprey, bald eagles, great blue herons, and more amazing wildlife.

Lake Coeur d’Alene Sunset Kayaking

This guided tour will help you peacefully finish the long days of summer while gliding in soft light through the waters of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Watch osprey dive for fish, discover deer leisurely eating shoreline vegetation, soak up the pine-scented air, or share a sunset toast of cider or champagne while watching the amazing sunset over the lake.

  • June 4–August 20, trips daily at 7pm
  • August 21–August 31, trips daily at 6pm
  • Minimum of 10 guests per trip (single kayakers welcome)
  • Recommended minimum age is 5

Rental Policy

  • Reservations recommended
  • Boat renter must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license
  • No pets, fishing, or skiing
  • Tubing is permitted and equipment is available to rent
  • $400 damage deposit and $50 cleaning deposit required
  • All major credit cards accepted
  • Prices are subject to change and do not include fuel charges
