Posted on: May 3, 2023

If you're visiting the Coeur d'Alene Resort, one attraction that you won't want to miss is a ride on the Eagle and Double Eagle boats. These luxurious water taxis are an iconic part of the resort's transportation system, providing a convenient and stylish way to travel between the Resort Hotel and Golf Course, Infinity Pool & Private Beach.
The Eagle and Double Eagle boats were custom-built in Coeur d'Alene in the early 1990s. The Eagle was built in 1991, followed by the Double Eagle in 1992. Both vessels are 30 feet long, with twin engines and a total of almost 600 horsepower. They are constructed from beautiful Honduran mahogany, which gives them a classic and elegant look.
Each boat can accommodate up to 16 guests, making them the perfect option for small groups traveling together. The ride between the Resort Hotel and other attractions such as the Resort Golf Course, Infinity Pool, and Event Center takes just 10 minutes. During that time, you'll have the opportunity to take in stunning views of Lake Coeur d'Alene and its surrounding landscape.
For visitors to the Coeur d'Alene Resort, a ride on the Eagle and Double Eagle boats is more than just a means of transportation - it's an experience in and of itself. These luxurious vessels are a testament to the resort's commitment to providing top-notch amenities and services for its guests. Whether you're heading to a round of golf, a poolside lounge, or a special event, the Eagle and Double Eagle boats are the perfect way to get there in style.
Hours of operation are 7am – 7pm. Boats will depart the Resort on the hour and half hour (:00, :30) and depart the golf course dock on the quarter hours (:15, :45). They are available exclusively for overnight Resort guests, club members, and marina tenants.
