Appointments & Consultations:
We value the time spent with you discussing your dream day. Tours and consultations are by appointment only. Our Wedding Sales Manager will review with you the many options available at The Coeur d’Alene Resort, available dates, and offer a tour of the venues that best fit your dream day.
A member of the Wedding Department is in the office Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. There are times that our schedules will change due to events. We attempt to return calls and emails within 24 to 48 hours. Please note that during the peak season, Saturday appointments will be accepted on a limited basis.
Wedding Agreement: Once you have determined which space is the perfect fit for your wedding day, we will prepare the wedding agreement based on availability and confirmation of your date. This agreement details the wedding date, location, time of day and deposit schedule. This agreement will be sent to your home mailing address. Your date and location will be confirmed with a returned signed agreement and non-refundable deposit.
Wedding Planning Forms:
Once the booking process has been completed, the next step is to complete the wedding worksheets and planning forms. There are typically months between this step and the next. These forms are meant to guide you through the planning process before meeting with our Wedding Event manager. These worksheets will provide valuable information for our staff and vendors and ensure we’re on the same page throughout the planning process.
The next step is scheduling an appointment with our Wedding Event Manager, who will function as the liaison between The Resort’s operations staff and you; recommend event professionals to assist you with photography, floral and décor, officiant, invitations, and other amenities; provide guidance on food and beverage selections; create a detailed banquet event order containing specific information that will be communicated directly to The Resort staff; provide and on-going estimate of Resort related charges outlining your financial commitments and deposit schedule and ensure seamless transition to the Banquet Manager on the day of your event.
If you desire more hands on assistance, we will be happy to recommend a professional wedding planner to assist you through planning and day of coordination of your wedding.
Wedding Menus & Tastings:
The Coeur d’Alene Resort offers a complimentary tasting to all booked brides and grooms, on three dates per year, to be announced by your Wedding Event Manager. It is the responsibility of the couple to attend one of these events if they wish to taste our menu selections. RSVP must be received 30 days in advance for your date of choice.
We will work with you to create a detailed floor plan of the event space for your seating assignments; which will be communicated directly with the Banquet Manager for your event.
On the day of your wedding, a member of our Wedding Event Team will be available to answer questions, greet vendors, and assist you with a seamless flow of activity from the ceremony and into your reception. The Venue Coordinator will hand over coordination to the Banquet Manager/DJ after dinner, unless you have a wedding planner, then they will be your main point of contact.
Venue Coordinators will be available for up to 5 hours on the day of your event based on the location and needs of the event. Additional time may be added at the rate of $200 per hour.
Capturing all the details you have so delicately planned and memories you never want to forget is highly important to us, therefore we recommend Quicksilver Studios Photography. This international award winning studio has been photographing weddings in and around The Coeur d’Alene Resort for over 25 years. Quicksilver’s artistic team illustrates the beauty of each wedding in every image.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort banquet services staff will ensure all tables, chairs, linens, and service ware are set according to the diagram determined with your Wedding Event Manager. Any handling, set up, or clean-up of personal decorations, supplies or rented items are not the responsibility of The Resort staff. All décor and personal items/supplies must be removed from property or disposed of at the conclusion of your event. If a rented item is to be left on premises for any time after the event, prior arrangements must be made with the Wedding Department. The Resort and its employees are not responsible for any lost, stolen or broken items.

For events taking place at The Hagadone Event Center, group transportation must be arranged 30 days prior to the event date. Your Wedding Event Manager will provide you with options and pricing.
The Coeur d’Alene Resort works closely with a number of reputable local vendors. You will receive a directory of preferred wedding vendors. Each event group is responsible for hiring its own vendors.
